Dynamo Samarkand are prepared to consider offers for Uzbekistan international defender Jakhongir Urozov. Club officials told Eurasia Football that they have set the 22-year-old’s asking price at $1 million.

Urozov has recently been linked with several European clubs. German publication Kicker reported that Borussia Mönchengladbach have identified the centre-back as one of the candidates to strengthen their defence.
The player’s agent, Shahriyor Eshboev, has also claimed that Urozov has options in Italy, Germany, Turkey and the Netherlands. According to him, scouts from English, Italian and German clubs watched the defender during the World Cup.
Borussia Mönchengladbach remain the only specific European club whose interest has been reported by a major foreign outlet. There has so far been no public confirmation of a formal offer or negotiations.
Dynamo officials stressed that Urozov remains under contract with the club and said many of the reports surrounding his future are still only rumours.
“There are a lot of rumours, and it is difficult to say where they are coming from. The player has a valid contract with Dynamo. We have set the fee at $1 million. If anyone is interested, we are ready to discuss it,” the club’s management told Eurasia Football.
Urozov is a product of the Bunyodkor academy and began his senior career with the Tashkent club. In 2023, he moved to Turkish side Eyüpspor but was unable to establish himself, making one appearance in the Turkish Cup.
After returning to Uzbekistan, the defender joined Dynamo Samarkand, where he established himself as a regular starter. His performances earned him a place in the Uzbekistan national team and the country’s squad for the 2026 World Cup.
Urozov came on as a substitute in Uzbekistan’s opening match at the tournament before earning a place in the starting line-up. His performances attracted further attention from European scouts and intensified speculation over a possible summer transfer.
Dynamo have made it clear that they are open to talks, but only on the basis of their $1 million valuation.
