At an extraordinary meeting, the club’s management decided to retain Babayan despite a poor start to the Uzbekistan Super League season, with Andijan collecting 6 points from 6 matches.

After the 0–1 defeat to Navbahor, sources told Eurasia Football that Babayan had stepped down and that the club had begun searching for a new head coach, with several candidates under consideration.

However, within 24 hours, the decision was reversed. Babayan has been given another opportunity to turn things around.
