Bosnian midfielder Haris Hajdarević can bring reliability, work rate and tactical discipline to Dinamo Samarkand, football agent Amil Šukalo told Eurasia Football.
The 27-year-old joined Dinamo as a free agent after spending three seasons with Serbian club Radnik Surdulica. Hajdarević has signed a contract with the Uzbek side until December 31, 2027.
“In terms of playing style, he is similar to Harun Karić. Hajdarević is not the type of player who wins matches through dribbling. He is a modern midfielder who works hard, covers space well, is tactically disciplined and can connect the different lines of the team.
“His greatest strengths are his reliability and work ethic.
“Haris developed in the strong academy of Željezničar, one of Bosnia’s biggest clubs, where Edin Džeko also grew as a player. He has plenty of experience. I saw that he had signed for Dinamo, and I am confident that he can perform at a high level in Samarkand. He is a very valuable and dependable player for any team,” Šukalo said.
Hajdarević was born in Sarajevo and initially played youth football for Novi Grad and Olimpik. In 2015, he joined the Željezničar academy, won the Bosnian youth championship and featured in two editions of the UEFA Youth League.
Bosnia and Herzegovina’s all-time leading goalscorer Edin Džeko also came through the system at Željezničar. However, the two players did not cross paths: Džeko left the Sarajevo club in 2005, ten years before Hajdarević arrived at its academy.
Hajdarević made his senior debut for Željezničar in September 2017. During his first full season, he helped the club win the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup.
He played there alongside current Sogdiana Jizzakh striker Dženan Zajmović. According to Transfermarkt, the two Bosnians made 47 appearances together.
Hajdarević later joined Sloboda Tuzla on loan before moving to Turkish side Boluspor in January 2021. According to SportSport.ba, Boluspor paid €50,000 for the midfielder.
He returned to Željezničar several months later and joined Radnik Surdulica in the summer of 2023. Hajdarević made 107 league appearances and scored 12 goals during his three seasons in Serbia. He also represented Bosnia and Herzegovina five times at U21 level. His current market value is estimated at €450,000.
Hajdarević arrived at Dinamo during the club’s summer squad overhaul. Following financial difficulties and the departure of the foreign players signed in the winter, the Samarkand side changed its general director and recruited a new group of foreign players.
Experienced Serbian midfielder Marko Stanojević has also returned to Dinamo. He represented the club in 2025, spent six months back in Serbia and has now signed a new deal until the end of the current season. Tribuna.uz reported his return.
Dinamo’s new foreign contingent also includes Moldovan defender Mihail Ștefan, Guinean midfielder Amadou Doumbouya and Russian defender Artem Radaev. The club has also signed 19-year-old Raul Djeparov on loan from Bunyodkor.
Hajdarević has already made his Uzbekistan Super League debut. Vadim Abramov named the Bosnian in the starting line-up against Qizilqum, and he completed the full match.
Hajdarević scored an own goal in the 55th minute, allowing the hosts to reduce the deficit. Dinamo nevertheless protected the advantage established through goals from Firdavs Abdurakhmonov and Anvar Hojimirzayev to claim a 2–1 victory.
The result took the Samarkand club to 14 points and 11th place in the Super League.
